Where the world has come to and where the world is going?

Welcome to a 21st century, a world of hatred, jealousy, competition, antipathy and so on. As a child, we were taught to be nice to our fellow peers. We were taught to respect elders. We were asked to maintain peace. We were told never hurt anyone. What makes me think is that where these kind words are gone. Peace, respect, love and happiness are turned into conflict, disdain, enmity, despair and displeasure.

That feeling of being happy for our loved ones is just vanishing day by day. There used to be days when I used to wait for a family function or a get together to happen to meet my cousins and friends. There used to be a long chit chat in the nights under one blanket, sipping coffee, sneaking together in a kitchen to grab food, and standing right next to each other when one gets scolded. There was a love, a connection, a feeling that was never meant to fade away. I guess.

Now is the time when you hear from a third party that your so called best friend is doing immensely well for him or her but he or she just forgets to tell you that one important thing of his or her life. Funny isn’t it? Because they are those same people who always needed your help and you were always happy to help. They might again call you for your help but never expect a call of those little chit chats you had earlier.

Apparently they feel that you might have those evil eyes that would affect their happiness or accomplishments. So you might never hear from your friends or cousins in a longer run. (What is wrong with people)?

Why families and friends are turning into foes. Why people are turning themselves into monsters. Why there are no feelings of bliss or contentment towards people of our own.

I was taught that always smile. Smile brightens the world. Sorry Mom Dad, you were wrong. If I smile then people think that I am onto something, something really fishy.

I hope these people get well soon and spend their precious little time on spreading happiness rather than being doubtful and insecure.

I also hope the next generation would become the change in the world because this way the world is heading towards nowhere. Beautiful sky would look like a pale sky, deep blue colored sea would turn into a colorless sea and life would become dull if these ugly feelings keep arousing. It’s better to stop them right now and forever.

FRIENDS! FOREVER.

I grew up watching Friends. Honestly, I still watch it over and over again and never get tired of it.  Watching six different people madly in love with each other, care for each other and also stand by each other whatsoever happens is just so amazing and a treat for an eye to watch. Must say, watching FRIENDS is the best therapy to turn your sad mood in a happy one. :)It completely  fills you with the positivity. Isn’t it?  Other than this, what Friends can teach you better, I guess no one can.

So here is my list of what Friends has taught me so far in Life:

  • First and foremost: You can not ever and ever ditch  your friend over somebody else. Just remember the golden line said by Phoebe Buffay: Boyfriends and Girlfriends will come and go, Friends Stay Forever.

Boyfriends and Girlfriends will come and go, Friends stay forever

  • Supportive is the word: No matter what, Friends wont leave you miserable. They are the best support system ever.

Welcome to the Real World, It Sucks

  • Ssshhh!! Lets not tell this to her or him. You can do that to your best friends. Yes! Never hide any secrets from your best pals. It is very bad.

In London

Never keep any secrets

  • Never let you do crazy stuff alone.

Friends not let you do crazy stuff alone

Haha! Picture says it all.

And what else fun is Joey Special when you order two pizzas at the same time.

So now this is what I am going to do. Will going to order pizzas, call my friends and watch FRIENDS. I am sure you would want to do the same thing. Go ahead and have a good time watching FRIENDS.

Bbye have fun.

Bollywood news

RED IS DEFINITELY EXPENSIVE! Be it a glass of wine, a FERRARI or hair color worth 55 LAKHS!

We often hear how Bollywood biggies spend tons and tons to make the set look jaw dropping. Not only this, from star’s heavy costumes to their tantrums, everything just feels worth when their films get thumbs from the critics or when their overall collection become talk of the town. Everyone in the film making, whoever it is a director or an actor, they all go into the minute details to make the film work. Shahrukh Khan’s body fitting outfit in Ra.One or Madhuri Dixit’s 30 kgs lehnga in Devdas. Both came in the news before their release just because of their outfits. And naturally it helps the film. After all, any promotion is a good promotion.

From Raveena Tandon to Deepika Padukone, b- town actresses never shied to take chances with their looks for the film. Now one more tinsel town girl has joined the brigade and has created buzz all over because of her look in the film. Though she never experimented much with her looks before and even in the award shows, we have always seen her with her straight black hair. That’s Katrina Kaif, one of the versatile and dedicated actress Bollywood industry have. Her dedication towards her work has gone to the whole new level. Presenting the red hair Firdaus in Fitoor. She is looking absolutely stunning in the movie. Do you know how much was spent on her red hair? Let’s talk about this. Resources have revealed 55 lacs were spent on Katrina Kaif’s hair. She used to travel abroad to take the right treatment for her hair every month. From her tickets to her stay in hotel, just her look cost the makers of the film 55 lacs. That’s quite an amount for a hair color and much more than what an average person even a film would spend on their hair in their entire lifetime, eh?

One more picture that has gone viral for the right reasons is of talented actor Randeep Hooda. He has also changed his look for his upcoming movie on Sarabjit. He lost 18 kgs in 28 days to get the right look for his role in Sarabjit, a biopic based on Indian death row prisoner.

We hope their experiments with their looks work well for them. Wishes 🙂

City in a METRO

What a news I read this morning. Metro to be started by 2021 in my own city Chandigarh. Ya, long way to go yet. Almost three years ago, administration planned to bring metro in Chandigarh. Chandigarh is a city and also a union territory of India. It is also the capital of two states Punjab and Haryana. It is the cleanest city, beautiful city and is also on the verge of becoming a smart city. Paid parking systems to go automated, phone bills and electricity bills can be paid in just seconds. who has time? who has time to stand in long queues. who has time to even go to the sampark centres to deposit bills. who has time to stuck in traffic. and comes the metro to rescue us.

Yes, metro in Chandigarh. Chandigarh is a small city indeed but with a population of 1,123,983 . Of course, Chandigarh wont look the way it looks now when metro will come but it will be required. Then you will see metro going above you when you are on your way to sector 10. you are used to see the mountains and then you will see metro. how is that?

and how is that when you leave your home to office at sharp 9 am and leaves office at 5 pm and you are stuck badly in the traffic for an hour. not cool. right? infact sometimes people here think it would have been better to stayed back at office for an another hour. at least you get to see theDelhiMetroBlueLineBombardier2 clean roads and would reach home in just 5 mins.

Also,  ladies  up here are becoming independent but when it comes to commuting alone, i mean if they are driving by themselves that you see less. so yes one more positive point is that the ladies wont have to be dependent on their husbands, boyfriends, brothers, fathers if they want to travel. they can get in a metro and can go whenever they want to, wherever they want to.

and for all those like me who have not seen the metro life, its time. 🙂

Singh is Bling!!! Not so Shinier

Alright so Singh is bling starring Khatron ke Khiladi Akshay Kumar who faced quite a khatra in the movie but her lady love was always there for him. No no she was not praying for him to be safe from the goons rather she was the real fighter in the movie. Talking of whom, Amy Jackson, the leading lady of the movie barely had any dialogues in the movie but she did quite the stunts which left me stunned.( Go girl!)  Raftar Singh (Akshay Kumar) as expected is again a jolly, entertaining , good from heart and good for nothing moves to Goa to prove himself that he is capable of doing something, gets some work where he meets Sara ( Amy Jackson ) who is from Romania comes to Goa to find her mother. Kay kay Menon is there in the negative lead who wants to marry Sara anyhow. At the time of the wedding, hero comes in and saves the girl from getting married to the villain.
Film has Lara Dutta also, who is the translator in the movie. Because Raftaar Singh does not know English and Sara does not know any Hindi. Now we all know that Lara Dutta is an ex Miss Universe and is very glamorous. But her look in the movie was not shown that way because then people would have gotten confuse who is the heroine of the movie.
Kay Kay Menon again has impressed us with his versatility.
Like any other bollwood film it has songs, comedy action, drama, emotions but where is the story.
Singh has shown his worth but wanted to see something new and more. Oh Yes we have seen these kind of films earlier. Rest is on you. What is your pick on it.

Having a pretty face is a blessing..I doubt!!

Hii, So I am like any other normal girl.Love to experiment with looks. Be it with my hair, clothes or anything. I get bored easily with the same look. But if I like to change my looks, then it is just for me. Not for anyone else.
I don’t know how it is in other cities since I have not been out of Chandigarh but I have heard things are pretty easy for girls out there in Mumbai, Bangalore or Delhi (for some) fortunately.
When I was young I used to play outside of my home with my friends. It was so much fun. Then as I grew up, things got little change. Even if I have to go to the market, I had to make sure that I should not go when it is darker because that’s when boys roam around. I used to go out either with my friends or with my mom. Things got very weird when I started going to the college. It is a time when you need to get independent because it used to be very awkard if your dad or brother drops you to the college. so I bought activa and hence I started going to the college on my own. It was a very good feeling until boys started following me till home. Not like I want to have bodyguards with me. So why does all this happen. Because boys are crazy, they think they can easily woo a girl or because she is pretty.
That’s a very common problem in here. if a girl is pretty, people would stare at her as if something is wrong with her.
When I am out , and people start looking at you, they turn back at you and then you feel that awkwardness. O h god is there something wrong with me,with my hair or with my dress.
Also, People know you as a pretty girl. They don’t know you for who you are. They don’t know what you are capable of. They don’t know your qualities .They don’t think you are intelligent or hard working because they know you as a pretty girl.
People there is more than just looks. Stop judging girls on the basis of their looks. It is weird very weird..
